in VA, migrated to NC, then SC, and died in Lancaster District, SC, and
that Molly Sprunt's parents were James Sprunt and Milly Duncan.

bullet  Noted events in his life were:

• Move, Bef 1790, Lancaster County, South Carolina, USA. His father-in-law, James Sprunt also migrated to Lancaster County before 1790. James Sprunt's service as a Patriot has been accepted by the National Society of Daughters of American Revolution (N.S.D.A.R.). on National Number 462 469, also submitted by Maryline Cauthen Westenhaver.His patriotic service is shown by North Carolina voucher # 1787 issued at Halifax District on September 15, 1781. He bought land on Cedar Creek,Lancaster County in 1792, died in Kershaw County before August 23, 1806.

Other daughters of James Sprunt were wives of Wm. Stevens, Joseph Graves& John Hood.
