James Sprunt's service as a Patriot has been accepted by the National Society of Daughters of American Revolution (N.S.D.A.R.). on National Number 462 469, also submitted by Maryline Cauthen Westenhaver.His patriotic service is shown by North Carolina voucher # 1787 issued at Halifax District on September 15, 1781.
