Marcus (Mark) Derden

Mark Derden lived in Chesterfield and Lancaster Districts, South Carolina. He was a son of James Derden, who was said to have come "to this country" in 1767. In 1797, land was surveyed for James Derden on Stone House Creek in Chesterfield, near the state line.
