Henry Holden

  General Notes:

Henry Holden was born in North Carolina in 1806, and came to Lancaster County, South Carolina before 1830. His wife was named Martha, and she was born in North Carolina. Only three of their children are known. They were Emaline, born about 1829 in North Carolina; Eliza J., born 18 June 1831; and Alexander born 17 Feb 1834. Henry lived a while in Lancaster County, then moved to Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He returned to Lancaster County near the Buford Township, where he and his wife lived out their lives. Henry and Martha are buried in Union Baptist Church Cemetery near the Buford Battleground.

Henry married Martha Unknown. (Martha Unknown was born on 1 Apr 1806, died on 27 Sep 1889 in Lancaster Co., SC, USA and was buried in Union Baptist Church, Buford community, Lancaster County, SC.)
