In 1839, a revival was held at Fork HIll Baptist Church lasting from August 15th through October 19th. Among those listed as joining the church were "Rolley" Hammond and Sarah Hammond.
Rawleigh married Sarah Baskin, daughter of William Baskin and Susannah Horton, on 20 Nov 1836. (Sarah Baskin was born in 1819 in Lancaster County, South Carolina and died WFT Est 1859-1914.)
