Kershaw - Mrs. Donnie Morgan, 77, of Route 2, died January 19, 1989, at Elliot White Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster. Funeral is at 2 p.m. saturday at Center Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Hanf and Rev. Coit Auten officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetary. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home in Lancaster.
Mrs. Morgan, a homemaker, was born in Kershaw County, daughter of the late Aleck and Ella Sims Holden. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Sammie Morgan; daughters Ms. Mildred Morgan, Ms. Betty Marshall, Mrs. Bessie Knight, Mrs. Ella Mangum; 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
